The Standards guarantee the standardisation of quality safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers full their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer. BRC Global Standards are now often a fundamental requirement of leading retailers. ISO Accreditation ISO 9001- Our standards intention is to improve internal working in order to help achieve greater consistency and quality of service. Together with improving what we already have in place this is done by replacing bad or even non-existing processes with ones that are relevant functional and documented. The results are greater eciency and productivity. ISO 9001 is also aimed at achieving customer satisfaction by setting out what needs to be in place in order to consistently meet customer requirements. In a tough economic climate where retaining customers is vital. In addition ISO 9001 is designed to be compatible with other ISO management system standards such as our ISO 14001 Environmental All combination of these complementary standards can be integrated seamlessly. By sharing many principles choosing an integrated management system can reduce cost considerably. The ISO 14001 environmental management system allows organisations to demonstrate to stakeholders and customers that the business is committed to reducing its environmental impact as well as reducing costs associated with waste management. The ISO 14001 standard was developed in 1996 with the aim of helping companies comply with regulations and laws and improve their environmental impact. ISO 14001 is one of the most popular standards in the world as it applies to all sectors of business and organisations of any size. We are hoping to have this fully completed and implemented in the summer of 2016. Willmotts transport Ltd has a vision to grow within its sector not to be the biggest haulier but to be the best in the business. What we believe we meant as the best was to be dierent in a positive and proactive fashion. In the mid 90s our competitors oered the same as each other basically hiring out a truck and driver. We had to get the basics right and committed annually to an aggressive purchasing policy to ensure the trucks and trailers were the best and youngest eet we could commercially aord.
